Guangdong province-based Zoke Culture Development Company will release the audio and film versions of The Founding of a Republic (Jianguo Daye), a film featuring more than 100 stars, after its premiere on Sept 17.

According to an agreement signed on Sept 8 in Beijing by the film's co-director Han Sanping, Zoke and International Copyright Exchange, the film will be supported by more than 500 law firms and 200 notary offices around the country to crack down on pirated audio and film versions.

Focusing on the birth of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), a top advisory body of China in 1948, the film is a highly anticipated flick of this autumn, with its all-star cast, including Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Zhang Ziyi.

The International Copyright Exchange was set up February in Beijing as a marketplace for copyright trading.
