Joe Jackson: 'Michael did have lovechild'

Michael Jackson's father has confirmed that the late singer did have a lovechild, according to reports.

Joe Jackson revealed that his son sired 25-year-old Omer Bhatti out of wedlock, says E!.

"I knew he had another son, yes I did," he said in an interview with News One. "He looks like a Jackson, he acts like a Jackson, he can dance like a Jackson."

Bhatti was reportedly among the mourners at the popstar's public memorial service earlier this month. He is believed to have sat next to Michael's siblings during the proceedings at the Staples Center.

The King Of Pop allegedly told his family that the Norwegian-born dancer was conceived after a one-night stand with his mother Pia in 1984. Bhatti is also said to have lived at Neverland Ranch for eight years with his family - who worked for the singer - while he was still a child.

It was reported earlier that Jackson's mum Katherine was granted custody of his three children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris Katherine, 11, and 7-year-old Blanket.
