Zac Efron gets helping hand

Vanessa Hudgens is giving boyfriend Zac Efron DIY advice.

The 'High School Musical' beauty has been helping the 21-year-old hunk improve the interior of his new $1.5 million house - after he revealed he was sleeping on the floor.

He said: "She's fantastic, she's been helping me out. She's got a great sense of style anyway so that's good news for me."

Zac - who recently splashed out on the "modest" modern, two-bedroom Los Angeles mansion - has previously admitted the property was far from livable.

He said: "I don't have a bed! I'm still on an air mattress. I've just moved in, I have no furniture. But I've got a decorator. He's kind of a friend."

Despite Zac's recent purchase - which comes complete with an infinity pool and views across the city - the couple spend most of their time together at Vanessa's Californian mansion.

The 20-year-old star spent $2.75 million on her six-bedroom Tuscan style home in Studio City last year.

Vanessa's property boasts hardwood and stone floors, six bathrooms and a swimming pool with spa, waterfalls and a barbeque island.
