Pink has settled a lawsuit filed by a New York artist who claimed that she had used one of his works in a music video without permission.

Vladimir Kush sued the singer and her record label Zomba for copyright infringement last August after images from his painting Countes Erotiques appeared in the promo for 'U + Ur Hand'.

PageSix reports that Pink has now agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to settle the lawsuit, which was filed in Manhattan District Court.

Kush said: "I'm an artist and do not enjoy the litigation process, but if someone is wrongfully taking from my creations, I must defend my art."
