Paul Rudd is set to star in the comedy "I Love You, Man," playing a bridegroom who attempts to find a best man.

Jason Segel, a series regular on CBS's "How I Met Your Mother," is in final negotiations to play the best man.

The DreamWorks project comes from writer/director John Hamburg ("Along Came Polly").

Rudd and Segel previously appeared in Judd Apatow's "Knocked Up," and will both be seen in the upcoming "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," which Segel also wrote. Rudd will also appear next in "Little Big Men," on which he also served as a writer.
