Kidman trades career for touring

Nicole Kidman is scaling back on the number of movies she stars in - because she hates being apart from husband Keith Urban.

The 40-year-old actress has been passing on several scripts in order to accompany the country singer on his international Love, Pain And The Whole Crazy World tour.

She says, "I like being on the road. I get to see parts of America that I would never see. It's a whole different environment. No red carpet, no pressure for me. I'm not doing a show.

"I'm just there as a wife, and I take some photographs."

The pair wed in their native Australian in a private ceremony in Sydney last year.
