Thomas Haden Church set to join Eddie Murphy comedy

Updated: 2007-08-08 20:41 LOS ANGELES - "Spider-Man 3" villain Thomas Haden Church is in final negotiations to star opposite Eddie Murphy in the comedy "NowhereLand."
Shooting is scheduled to begin next month in Los Angeles. Karey Kirkpatrick ("Over the Hedge") will direct. The film is set for release in September 2008. Church, whose recent credits include the supervillain Flint Marko/Sandman in "Spider-Man 3," is shooting the Sandra Bullock romantic comedy "All About Steve." He received an Oscar nomination for his supporting role in "Sideways." |
The Paramount Pictures film centers on a struggling businessman who solves his troubles at work by consulting his 6-year-old daughter and the imaginary world she has created. Church will play a ruthless workplace rival of Murphy's character.
