Sixi Tangyuan is a traditional food made from glutinous rice flour mixed with some water to form balls. The balls usually have different fillings such as red beans, sesame, white sugar, sweet-scented osmanthus, pork and bamboo shoots. Tangyuan is also served as a dessert on reunion occasions because its homophone for union and happiness.
