The 15th Suzhou Tourism Festival will open in Suzhou, East China’s Jiangsu province on April 27. A promotional meeting was held on March 29 in Shanghai.

The ceremony will feature a boat parade, performances, lights and a fireworks show. The ceremony will demonstrate Suzhou as “the Oriental Water City” for tourism along with a classic romance and modern vitality by combining elements of local fashion. Besides tour programs, Suzhou boasts of other spring tour routes that feature commerce, sports and leisure, urban sightseeing, folk customs and much more.
