The three-day Chengdu Houseware, Leisure Goods and Gifts Fair lowered its curtains yesterday in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province.

Sponsored by the Reed Huabao Exhibitions in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province, the Chengdu Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chengdu Exhibition Bureau, the fair drew 650 exhibitors from home and abroad in an exhibition space of 16,000 square meters in the Century Town New Exhibition and Convention Center in southern Chengdu.

In addition to the latest technology involved in the exhibits, visitors were impressed with gifts that had a strong connotation of traditional Chinese culture, including the Shu Brocade, paintings made of silver threads, traditional Chinese paintings and works of calligraphy.
