Fifty households in the High-tech Zone in the capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province have signed an agreement with the Fangcao Community Health Center.

According to the recent agreements, they will be entitled to the family doctor service provided by the center.

When they fall ill, they can consult family doctors on the phone. Family doctors can offer them suggestions or make an appointment for them in hospitals.

The center will establish health records of the 50 households first. It also will offer a free physical examination for them each year, according to center chief Cheng Min.

With a permanent population of 65,000 in the community, Cheng's center is aimed at providing a family doctor for each inhabitant in the future.
