Dalian People’s congress starts its annual session

Officials gathered for the Fourth Session of the 14th Dalian Municipal People’s Congress from Tuesday to Saturday at Dalian World Expo Square, Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning Province.

Dalian Mayor Li Wancai delivered a report on the government’s work during the five-day session, wrapping up the work in 2010 and making projections for the future.

Officials approved the 12th Five-Year planning draft. Dalian blueprint for 2011 economic and social development also past final discussion and was approved.
