Int'l airport economy summit to be held in Chengdu

The 2010 International Airport City and Airport Economy Development Summit will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, from November 15 to 17.

Sponsored by the Institute of Industrial Economics of the State Council Development Research Center, Chengdu Municipal People's Government and the China Economic Times, the summit with the theme "New airports, new cities, and new development" will draw CEOs from the world's major airports, aviation cities, airlines and related industries to compare notes on the development of the airport economy.

Chengdu has the country's fourth largest airport and it has more than 160 air routes.
