Sino-French co-op forum for innovation in clusters kicks off

The three-day Sino-French Cooperation Forum for Innovation in Clusters started Sunday in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan Province.

Organized by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center under the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Competition Directorate for Industry and Services under the French Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment, the forum is hosted by the Chengdu Hi-tech Zone.

As an important part of the 11th Western China International Fair and the 5th EU - China Investment and Trade Cooperation Fair, the forum has the theme "Sino-French Cooperation in Innovation, Open the Door to Success."

Chinese vice minister of science and technology Cao Jianlin and French Deputy Minister of economy, industry and employment attended the forum and delivered speeches.
