Coca-Cola issues new hydration drink

The Coca-Cola Co on Monday formally unveiled its Glaceau vitamin water, a low-calorie and nutrient enhanced alternative to normal water and energy drinks, in Beijing and Shanghai's Xintiandi.

First launched in New York in 2000, China is the 14th market globally that the Coca-Cola had launched this cool hydration water in a bid to meet the needs of hydrating-thirsty people around the world.

The water will be available in top restaurants, high-end shops and spas in fashionable metropolis like Shanghai and Beijing, in different from other beverage products from Coca-Cola, said Gonzalo De Aristegui, brand director of Coca-Cola China's Glaceau division.
