Fuyao Academy set up in E China

Fuyao Academy was officially opened in Fuzhou University on Sep 25. Chen Dubin, Secretary of the university’s Party Committee conferred the title guest professor to Cao Dewang, board chairman of Fuyao Group on the opening ceremony.

Fuyao Group is a leading automobile glass maker in China and occupies 60 percent of the market share in the country and 10 percent all over the world. Fuzhou University and the group set up Fuyao Academy to develop talents in terms of hi-end glass production, glass-related materials and so on to upgrade technologies in glass industry.

Fuzhou University is a key university focusing on engineering in Fujian province.
