Xiamen hosts 2009 Culture Creative Industry Exhibition

With the theme "taking crisis as chance, interaction as commercial opportunity", the 2009 Culture Creative Industry Exhibition will be held in Xiamen along with the 13th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) from September 8 to 11.

The 2009 China International Culture Creative Industry Development Forum will be an added attraction of the Exhibition, with "capital as bridge, market-orientation" as its objective.

The forum will cover several aspects, including the development state of the culture creative industry and its sustainable development; integration of the culture creative industry and international financial investment capital and an effective way and feasibility of its development; relations between government orientation and creative industry development; and new trend and concepts of culture investment.

The Culture Creative Industry Exhibition will use the 13th CIFIT as its platform to promote bilateral and multilateral economic exchange and opportunities in international culture investment, according to the head of the Exhibition. The exhibition will pay close attention to market demand of the culture industry, promote exports of China's cultural products and service, and bring in foreign investment, the head of the Exhibition added.

"We are attempting to make the exhibition a platform for culture products, culture industry trade and culture information exchange of culture enterprises at home and abroad," according to the Exhibition head.

The Culture Creative Industry Museum, which will be open for visitors as part of the Exhibition, has been receiving wide public support. The museum will include exhibition areas for culture industry trade, visual arts, ceramics culture, tea culture and more others.

Preparatory work for the Exhibition is almost complete, with many culture creative departments and enterprises ready to take part in the Exhibition next month.
