Reading month to open in Chongqing

Chongqing will host the 2nd Reading Month at the Chongqing Exhibition Center starting from August 1.

Activities including a book fair, arts and crafts exhibition, as well as a variety of cultural activities will be on display.

Up to eight million kinds of books, newspapers, and audio and visual products will on sale. The arts and crafts exhibition has attracted more than 120 exhibitors, with highlights including fossils from Guizhou, Zhejiang Qingtian stone and more..

Dozens of calligraphers and painters will perform for the public, who can check out the exhibition until August 9.
