Co-hosted by both Chinese and German vocational education institutions,the Sino-German Vocational Education Cooperation: Supply and Demand forum was held in the capital of Liaoning province. Its main agenda was to display the achievements of the existing cooperation between Germany and China and discuss further exchanges. As the manufacturer of BMW cars in China, BMW Brilliance since its establishment in 2003 has set up a national training network including two training centers in Beijing and Shanghai and four in Shenyang, Nanjing, Chengdu and Guangzhou. Marc Grönninger, head of human resources systems department of BMW Brilliance, at the forum introduction commented on BMW Brilliance recent achievements in vocational education. Manfred Theunert, head of vocational education department of BMW Group, said BMW paid "great importance" to vocational education. "We would like to introduce the advanced education systems to China through BMW Brilliance and do our best to the local education development while promoting the cooperation and development between China and Germany in vocational education," he said at the forum. |
