Germany's bid to promote exchanges with China

A nine-day series of exhibitions - promoting exchanges between Germany and China - kicked off on June 12 in Shenyang Zhongshan Park, Liaoning province. The series of exhibitions - German Esplanade is the main project of German-China exchanges.

Through the exhibitions, which display the sustainable development of modern cities, visitors can learn more about German history and culture, as well as the country's achievements.

The project was launched in 2007 aiming to promote exchanges in culture, economy and other fields. Previous German-China projects have been held in Nanjing, Chongqing and Guangzhou.
