Photoelectric Industry Fair to kick off in Fujian

The Photoelectric Industry Fair for investment and trade will be held in Nan’an, southeast China’s Fujian province, on April 9. The two-day fair is part of the “6.18 Channel Technical Achievements Fair”.

Some 160 standard booths will be on display at the fair and more than 20 universities and institutions, including the Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics, Nankai University, and the Institute of Solar Energy of Zhongshan University, will exhibit their technical achievements. More than 100 companies will also showcase their photoelectric productions, acccording to Chen Rongzhou, deputy mayor of Quanzhou City.

Close to 30 Taiwan elite members of the photoelectric industry are expected to attend the fair. Four Taiwanese photoelectric industry companies will be established in Nan’an, and twelve companies are still in negotiations.

China has seen a soaring development of the LED and solar energy industry in Fujian Province. Currently, there are more than 150 companies engaged in this area which have ranked top in China.

The fair is co-hosted by several sources, including the China Renewable Energy Society, Fujian provincial Committee of Economy and Trade, Fujian Provincial Office of Technology, Fujian provincial office of information Industry, the Organising Committee of Chanel Technical Achievements Fair, and Quanzhou and Nan’an Governments.
