DALIAN: Neusoft Corporation tops the services providers of emerging Asian markets for the third consecutive year, according to the list of 2009 Global Services 100 released at the 2009 Global Services Conference in New York late last month.

It is also a winner of the Best IT Services Providers and the Leaders in Human Capital Development Activities among the other 10 categories in the list, which is jointly put forward by the US-based Global Services magazine and neoIT company, a global outsourcing and captive advisor.

As a leading IT solutions and services provider as well as the largest offshore software and service outsourcing provider in China, Neusoft has been listed for five consecutive years since the initiation of the Global Service 100 in 2005.

Liu Jiren, Chairman and CEO of Neusoft Corporation regard this award as "a great recognition of the achievements that Chinese service providers have made in business growth, corporate governance and customer service".

In 2008, Neusoft kept growing steadily in the field of software and service outsourcing, up 30 percent in turnover. Up to now, Neusoft has accumulated rich experience and resources in four product engineering fields, including digital home products, mobile terminals, in-car information products and IT products.

Currently, Neusoft boasts more than 15,000 employees in offices both at home and abroad. Last year, it became the first Chinese company that passed the PCMM V2.0 ML3 certificate, which is designed by Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of US-based Carnegie Mellon University to help organizations enhance their capacities through effective HR planning.

In order to meet the growing demands, Neusoft is building some global delivery centers in Tianjin, Shanghai and Guangzhou, while improving its existing software research and development bases in Shenyang, Dalian, Beijing, Chengdu, and Nanjing.

The impact of the ongoing global financial crisis on the service outsourcing industry is temporary, according to Liu Jiren.

“Under such economic turmoil, it is more necessary for companies to cut costs and gain competitiveness by outsourcing to survive and maintain sustainable development in the long run,” Liu said.

“I believe that when the global economy recovers, there will be a new surge in the outsourcing industry,” he predicted.
