Forgetful diner left $5.8m cash order in restaurant

Police came to the rescue of a woman who lost an official envelope containing a 40 million-yuan ($5.8 million) money order for her company.

Zhang, a teller for a firm in the suburbs of Nanjing, Jiangsu province, had forgotten the envelope, which also contained several blank checks, after eating her supper in a restaurant.

Realizing she had lost it she called the police, who visited 10 restaurants before finally finding the package.
