Opera star commits suicide for love

A young actress known for her Cantonese opera skills, took her own life last week after her longtime teacher, also a veteran opera actor, died of illness in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province.

He Haiying, 23, was found dead inside the home of the teacher, Bai Yunfeng, 62, who died of liver cancer.

In her dying words, He said she wanted to follow Bai to the other world and she wanted to be buried together with the teacher.

He was said to have been a student of Bai for many years. And He was deeply attached to Bai.
