Hunan girl's unselfish deeds are saluted

A 13-year-old Hunan girl was recently honored as one of the Top 10 Children Touching Changsha for her unselfish deeds.

Ye Guo has been picking up trash to make some money and take care of her disabled father ever since her mother died during a traffic accident in 2005.

In addition to doing all the housework and picking up waste, Ye serves her father at his bedside every day, all the while doing well in school.

After the May 12 earthquake in neighboring Sichuan province, she donated her meager savings to the children affected in the disaster.
