The International Poplar Commission paid post-session trip in Henan

Updated: 2008-11-24 15:36 The International Poplar Commission (IPC) held its 23rd session on October 26-30 in Beijing. As a part of the post-session activities, over 50 experts from home and abroad visited Puyang city of central China’s Henan Province to collect information on how the city achieved in such areas including poplar and willow breeding, poplar plantation and construction of poplar protective forest. They agreed poplars and willows play important roles in improving eco-environment and agro-forest cultivation is the dynamic engine to raise local farmers’ income.
