University becomes AACSB member

XI’AN: Xi’an Jiaotong University in this capital city of Northwest China’s Shaanxi province has been formally accepted as a new member of the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB).

The AACSB in the United States was founded in 1916 to accredit schools of business worldwide, with the stated mission being to advance quality management education worldwide through accreditation and thought leadership.

As of February 2008, the AACSB accredits 554 institutions.

The certification provided by AACSB has a significant meaning for Xi’an Jiaotong University to carry out the latest advanced educational concepts for improvement and step up the influence and status at home and abroad, said president Zheng Nanning.
