Care for nonagenarian touches local hearts

Local residents in the city of Gaoyao, Guangdong province are moved by retired teacher Zhou Cai'an's devotion to a lone, elderly lady.

Zhou, 62, has been taking care of 90-year-old Zhong Kuihao, who lives on her own, for more than 17 years.

Zhou daily prepares nourishing meals for Zhong and, in spite of economic pressure, has also bought her a color TV set.

Zhou's story is a main topic of conversation among Gaoyao locals since being published in local media.
