Three workers killed after fatale collapse

Three workers were killed after a support wall collapsed in a colliery in southwest China's Chongqing municipality, the local safety watchdog said on Friday.

The collapse happened around 8 am on Friday in the Huanggantang coal mine in Shihao, Qijiang county, when more than 10 people were working in the mine, the county's work safety supervision bureau said.

The three victims were crushed while the rest escaped unharmed, the bureau said. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
