22 killed in collision

TAIYUAN: Twenty-two people were killed and two injured when a bus collided head on with a truck in Shanxi province around 7 am yesterday, local government sources said.

The bus with 23 passengers and a driver was going from Youyu county to Taiyuan.

All the fatalities were on the bus, and the truck driver escaped with minor injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
