Hong Kong's Chief Executive to visit Shanghai

Updated: 2008-05-27 11:00 Hong Kong's Chief Executive Donald Tsang will visit Shanghai in late May in a trip aimed at strengthening ties and cooperation between the two cities, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government said Monday. Tsang will call on Yu Zhengsheng, secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Han Zheng, mayor of Shanghai, during the trip. He will also visit the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination and learn more about the development of creative industries in Shanghai. Tsang will leave for Shanghai on May 30 and return to Hong Kong on June 1. |
