To strengthen inter-regional economic cooperation between the Pearl River Delta region and its neighboring provinces, the 11th Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Cooperation & Development Forum took place on August 24-25 in Guangdong.
Since the Pan-Pearl Region Cooperation Agreement was signed in 2004, the 11 members of the region – Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and two SARs of Hong Kong and Macao – have deepened ties across a number of different areas.
