 A member of the Spanish Nuclear Safety Council holds a Geiger counter at Torrejon airbase, outside Madrid, March 21, 2011, before a government-chartered plane carrying 154 passengers from Japan landed. Passengers on the flight can choose to use the counter to check for traces of nuclear radiation.
