Two workers wait for the residents to get reward for flies
that they killed at a community in Luoyang, Central China's Henan Province, July
1, 2007. Local authorities paid 0.5 yuan for each dead fly during a campaign to
eradicate the flies and mosquitos. A regional official explained that it helped
to enhance people's awareness by sensationalizing the fly-for-reward
