A water spout, a huge funnel-shaped cloud, moves across ships at sea just several hundred metres south of the coast of Singapore May 25, 2007. "It is a water spout that builds due to differential pressure between the surface of the sea and the atmosphere. It has no impact on shipping," Suhaimee Nosman, an official at Singapore Maritime and Port Authority said. [Reuters]
