Explosions rocked Mozambique's capital

A fireball rises over Mozambique's capital Maputo after a series of explosions rocked the oceanside city March 22, 2007. Hot temperatures in the capital of Mozambique set off a series of explosions at a military armoury on Thursday that killed three people, state radio said. Explosions at the facility, a main storage area for old armaments, sent mortars and rockets flying into residential areas of Maputo and led to the closure of city's airport. [Reuters]
