Skywalk opens to visitors at Grant Canyon

The Skywalk on the Hualapai Indian Reservation overlooks the Grand Canyon on the Hualapai Indian Reservation in Arizona, March 20, 2007. When visitors step out on the new U-shaped observation platform, they will be standing on all-glass flooring suspended 4,000 feet above the Colorado River. The architect's vision is that visitors will have the sensation of floating freely without the intrusion of visible supports and can enjoy a panoramic view.
