Remotely controlled Pigeon in Shandong's university

A pigeon with a micro electrode implanted is
seen in its head at a lab of the Robot Engineering Technology Research Center of
east China's Shandong University of Science and Technology in Qingdao Monday,
February 27, 2007. Scientists with the research center succeeded in remotely
controlling the pigeons' flight by sending signals via computer after they
implanted micro electrodes in the pigeons' brains.[newsphoto]
