On February 28 1993, the three-year-old Liu Bo lost both of his arms in an electrical accident, but he didn't lose the self-confidence to make progress in his life and study. For the next sixteen years, he learned to eat, write and get dressed with his feet. More importantly, he learned anything is possible.

An armless student's dream"I once locked myself in the room and cried alone, but I finally got used to life without arms," Liu said. He was a student at No.5 Middle School in Chang'an District, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province and enjoyed challenging himself in all kinds of scholarly activities.
During the three years of high school, Liu gave spiritual support to others for his courage in pushing his natural limits. He was an important member of his football team. He also participated in the 5,000-meter cross-country race with a good time. Ren Suhai, Liu's teacher, said that Liu was a diligent student with strong perseverance, and he usually mentions Liu as an example to encourage other students.
