Three major news portals in the Yangtze River Triangle Delta,
www.eastday.com, www.zjol.com.cn, and www.jschina.com.cn, held the first
'Yangtze River Triangle Delta' Cup Digital Photo Contest in 2005, which is open
to both amateurs and professionals.
This year's contest, with www.chinadaily.com.cn as the sponsor, focuses on
the "new socialist countryside programme'' in Yangtze River Triangle Delta. The
national programme was put forward by the central government late last year to
better realize the agricultural development and modernization. Following are the
