Famous Chinese soprano Song Zuying and Spanish tenor Placido Domingo will sing together on the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games.

Tao Chun, who is in charge of the first episode of cultural performances during the Olympic closing ceremony, revealed the news to the Shanghai-based eastday.com.

Tao also said a strong Yunnan element will mark the cultural performances during the closing ceremony.

The closing ceremony of Beijing Olympic Games is scheduled for August 24.
