Sun Tiantian, the winner of the 2008 Australian Open Mixed Doubles title, has returned home to a hero's welcome in Beijing.

Although arriving around ten in the evening, Sun Tiantian was welcomed by national team head coach Jiang Hongwei, and by her fans.

She becomes China's first tennis player to win titles at both the Olympics and in a Grand Slam.
