It's the most recent work of theYang Liping as the follow-up to her successful music and dance production Dynamic Yunnan. The latter show enjoyed a long run at the Kunming Theatre and sold out other venues across China.

Project Manager, Zhaoliang explains "Tibetan Mystery".

"This production presents a panoramic view of the Tibetan culture. It's also the result of years of hard work of Yang Liping and her costar Rongzhongerjia."

Yang, a member of Bai ethnicity, first rose to prominence in China in 1986 after winning a national dance contest with her interpretation of the Dai peacock dance. A Tibetan audience was awe-struck by the performance.

"When I saw our daily life being presented by the dance in such a vivid and concise way, I was almost in tears."

Over the next couple of weeks, delegates from the US, UK, Canada, Spain, Australia, New Zealand and will also take part in the dance season.
