After the Sino-US basketball competition ended at midnight the contest became history, as if a page of a calendar was torn away. It was common because it was only a preliminary round match, and it was uncommon because China's opponent was a team of basketball masters. Usually, an European team has only a few master hands. What we could do was just to give scope to our special skills. At the beginning of the game, we did very well and were not thrown off although our opponents were swift in offense and defense.
