Chinese weightlifters will be looking to surpass their best ever show in Athens by clinching more than five gold medals. The "Dream Team" pocketed five golds at the Games four years ago. Spearheaded by defending champion Shi Zhiyong, Chen Yanqing and Liu Chunhong, a total of 10 lifters are ready to excel in Beijing.
Shi, Zhang Xiangyang, Liao Hui, Li Hongli, Lu Yong and Long Qingquan are in the men's team while Chen Xiexia, Chen Yanqing, Liu and Cao Lei have been named in the women's side.
