A fruit farmer from Nanchang, Jiangxi has been forcing his pears into moulds that cause them to grow in the shape of babies and miniature Buddhas, according to the Daily Mail of London. He believes the special shapes are a sure-fire way of getting children to eat fruit, while making him some money in the process. The idea came from an old Chinese fairy tale about a magic fruit in the shape of human infants, which says that whoever eats the magic fruit attains immortality. The special fruit has received a lot of attention at local shops, but few people are buying it as many feel it's too weird.
据英国《每日邮报》报道，江西南昌的一个果农把梨塞进模型，培育出婴儿和迷你佛陀形状的"人参梨"。他认为这种特别的形状能吸引孩子吃水果，而且还能让他赚上一笔。据悉，这个想法来自中国关于人参果的古老神话，传说谁要是吃了这种神奇的水果就能长生不老。这种特别的水果在当地店铺引来不少关注，但买的人却很少，许多人觉得这种水果太怪异了。
