Men's tights (紧身裤), for so long the preserve of ballet dancers and runway models, are taking New York by storm and could soon be seen on the streets of Britain, The Daily Telegraph of London reported. Celebrities such as Justin Bieber and Russell Brand have been spotted wearing male leggings, or "meggings". Some New Yorkers, however, see the "megger" as an affront (冒犯) to masculinity (男子气概). Gabriel Cru, 35, said: "Men in tights? Get out of here. We don't do men in tights in New York. That's European!"
