Lois Gibson, 62, is the world's most successful police sketch artist. Her composite drawings have helped police in Texas track down hundreds of murderers, rapists and kidnappers, foreign media reported. Her paintings are remarkably accurate depictions of the criminals who were caught later - even though they represent people described to her by terrified crime victims. A deft hand doesn't guarantee success on its own. It's also a good ear and supportive tone of voice that gets victims and witnesses to open up, according to Gibson.
