Bike designed in the bath

Graeme Obree, the Scottish cyclist, is building a bike (see photo) that he hopes will smash the world's fastest speed record and reach 100mph, The Daily Telegraph of London reported. Obree dreamt up the bicycle design in the bath on the back of a scrap of wallpaper and was constructed in part from an old saucepan and put together on the kitchen table. If he reaches his target of 100mph, he will break the current record of 82.8mph, set at the same site in 2009 by Sam Whittingham, a Canadian cyclist.
