Drive to Rongbuk via the village of Phadhruchi and
visit the Rongbuk Monastery. Camp near the Rongbuk Monastery.

Explore the Mt. Everest base camp and drive to Lhatse
Drive 15km to the Mt.
Everest base camp and explore the wonders near the world's highest mountain.
Then head to Lhatse.
D16: Drive to Gyantse
Pass through Gyamtso La,
the highest pass on the route, to Gyantse. Stay overnight in the traditional
Hotel Gyantse.
D17: Sightseeing day in Gyantse and drive to
Lhasa
After visiting the famous Kumbum and the Pelkore Chode Monastery, drive
through Karo La pass and Kamp-La and finally arrive at Lhasa.

Exploring Lhasa
Visit the Sera Monastery, Jokhang temple, Norbu lingka and
Barkor Street, appreciate the wonderful views and the mysterious
culture.
D19: Further Explore Lhasa
Take a one-day tour of Potala
Palace and the Drepung Monastery. D20: Fly to Katmandu
